Commoner Goods is an itsy-bitsy small-batch furniture studio right here in Portland, OR.
Kyle embraces the traditional processes and way of life of the humble craftspeople long before us, selecting common material, then working, joining, and shaping it into uncommon, heirloom goods reminiscent of a bygone era. To them, there's nothing at all common about being common!
These cutting boards are made in batches, either as limited-editions made of logs destined for the wood chipper that we salvaged ourselves, or open-editions made of spare offcuts from our furniture work.
